About these terms
These terms apply when you use www.stenwick.com. By using the site you accept them. If you become a client, the work we do for you is covered by a separate written agreement, which takes priority over these terms.
Using the site
You are welcome to read, share and quote this site, and search engines and AI assistants are welcome to read it too. Please do not try to disrupt it, get round its security, or use it to send spam or anything harmful.
The information here
The site gives general information about AI visibility and about our service. It is not advice for your particular situation. We work to keep it accurate and up to date, but we cannot promise it is always complete or current.
Examples are labelled as examples, and the businesses in them are invented. Research figures link to their sources, and those sources are responsible for their own findings.
No promise about AI assistants
Nobody controls what AI assistants say. Nothing on this site is a promise that ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, Google’s AI answers or any other assistant will name, recommend or describe any business, including yours, in a particular way.
The free check
The free check is offered at our discretion. We may decline or limit requests, for example if we cannot identify the business. The results show what the assistants said when we asked them. Their answers change over time, so a later check may show something different.
Our content
The words, design and code of this site belong to Stenwick unless we say otherwise. You may quote short extracts as long as you credit Stenwick and link to the page. The illustrations are from Humaaans by Pablo Stanley and are used under its free licence.
Links to other sites
We link to other sites, including research sources and AI assistants. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
Our liability
We provide this site as it is, free of charge. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that comes from using it or relying on it. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date below shows when they last changed.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
